Pink For a Man

I wanted to try drawing a man like I've drawn the last two drawings on this blog. I just don't see why a man can't be painted in pink. I thought that with each drawing I created in this style it would get easier. This didn't turn out to be the case. This picture was hard won, (the fact that I had a very handsome model did help though). It was tricky and took two attempts. I like this in the end but maybe it's too much to ask of art to always go the way you want it to or think it should. Maybe you just have to let it happen. Something to think about anyway. I still believe though, that a man can be painted pink.
