Alfred Hitchcock

Since it is Halloween, a season of chills and thrills, I thought I'd draw Alfred Hitchcock. Hitchcock is awesome at telling a scary story. For many, many years now his stories have thrilling and chilling millions of people on the big screen, so I thought he'd be fitting for a halloween picture. Halloween isn't like many other holidays. There's really nothing you have to buy or do, it's just pure fun, watching scary movies, putting up little silly decorations; it's equally fun for kids and adults alike. Which is why I think so many of us like it so darn much. So, Happy Halloween to all of you, I hope you're having a great time so far this October!

Very Halooweeny, I think Hitchcock is synonumous with Halloween! =) But I have to disagree, Halloween costs me a chunk of change...costumes, candy, deco....but that doesn't keep me from liking it. =)

I guess that's what happens when you don't have kids, are anti social, and cheap. No costumes to buy for anyone and all the decorations at my house cost less than $15.00. hahaha! :) Just goes to show how people can be different, do different things and still, HALLOWEEN rocks for us all (most anyway, I know one person who's terrified of it)!

Your blog is quickly becoming one of my favorites! I love to see what new artwork you have posted. Hitchcock is definitely Halloween! I love his movies, especially the ones with Jimmy Stewart in them (my all-time favorite actor ever!). Halloween is my favorite holiday. At our house we see how inexpensively we can make our cool costumes. It's a lot of fun and lets us explore our creativity. Hmmmm.....now I'm in the mood for a good Hitchcock movie, like Rear Window or Vertigo!

Hey Taunie, thanks for yout comment-

Im so glad you like my blog and artwork, thanks for coming here to look! I enjoy yours too. The pics from your anniversary trip are great. What a pretty place you went to!

Yes! I love ol' Alfred. He's so much fun. My favorites are (I THINK) Psycho and North by Northwest.

One of my favorite memories of Halloween growing up is coming up with those cheap costumes you mentioned. We were often pirates or gypsies so we could wear the ring lids my mom used for canning as earrings. :) Nice!

Hey Mai, thanks so much! I appreciate your comment!

As for the canning jar rings, yes, good times! Always with the canning jar lid rings, man. I bet when those were invented no one knew how many Halloween costumes they'd accentuate! :) Thanks for being such a great compatriot all these years, you are the coolest.
