Orange and Blue

As we drove home the other night, my husband and I were treated to the most amazing sunset. The sky was ribboned with clouds, between the clouds were two large bands of color, the lower was orange and the upper was blue. The clouds made these two colors look completely separate, like we were really looking at two different skies at the same time. Here is my version of this sunset. The tiny line going through the black mountains is where we were driving; interesting, that makes me think of how small we are compared to the sky, the universe. Makes me think we should throw our worries to the wind and just be pleased, after all, our worries must be small, at least when compared to the immensity of a sunset.

What a great way to look at life. I need to spend more time just 'being pleased' and worrying less. How small our worries truly are compared to the beauty around us.

Thanks Taunie!
Yes, I must try harder to do that too. Easier said than done, how nice to have beautiful sunsets to remind us. :)
