I love simple pictures with lots of space to get lost in. I painted this for a friends birthday and like it because it has lots of those big spaces I love. Plus, I think all the messy pencil lines give a nice sense that the process of creating this painting wasn't too picky, that it was just in the moment and enjoyable, which it was. The colors didn't end up too muddy either, ahhhh!
