Michael Crichton died November 4th of cancer. I just learn about this today, so, I'm a bit behind. I'm really sad about this; so, I did what I always seem to do in reaction to things, I drew a picture. My first memory of Mr. Crichton is "Jurassic Park," which will let you in on how late to the game I was when it came to his work, but as they say, better late than never. This is also the reason for picking a dinosaur for the subject of my post. My thoughts are with his family today. If you'd like to read more about him,

I just found out today, so you're ahead of me. Jurasic Part is the first thing that I think of when I hear his name too. I think the eyes and teeth are my favorite part - lots of lines!
Thanks! I like his mouth too - I like the gigantic throat hangy part. I do like his eyes cause they are itty bitty! :)
Crichton seemed sooo young in the footage I saw of him recently, really really lame. :(
Oh sad! I didn't even know that. Man. He'd be honored seeing your drawing.
Thanks Michelle, I appreciate that. I do hope he'd like my drawing.
Yes, really sad about his dying. I had no idea. I saw him on Charlie Rose talking about his book "Next" and he looked so young and healthy. Scary!
